WWT is a water hygiene business based in Bury, Lancashire with a turnover of £1.2m and directly employs 22 staff. The services provided by the business are extremely similar to those currently delivered by IWS’s water hygiene division. The acquisition provides an established reporting centre, client base and workforce within the North West providing opportunities to further expand the IWS client base in the region and to enhance the efficient delivery of existing contracts.
The WWT business will be fully integrated with the current IWS water hygiene division in order to support the provision of a specialist nationwide service to local authorities, housing associations, industrial customers and infrastructure owners.
