
The water industry regulator, Ofwat, has confirmed that customers of South Staffs Water will receive average water bills for the coming year that are 25% (£39) lower than the national average. The average household water charge in the South Staffs Water area of supply will be £118 for 2008/9 and are the third lowest in the country. The national average bill is £157.

South Staffordshire Water serves large parts of the Black Country, including Walsall, Sandwell and Dudley, together with areas such as Tamworth, Burton, Uttoxeter, Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield and Cannock.
