Leadership changes at South Staffordshire Group
South Staffordshire Group has today announced that Group Chief Executive Officer, Charley Maher, has taken the decision to leave the business at the end of October to take up the role of Chief Executive Officer at Bristol Airport.
Charley joined the Group as CEO three years ago and has led the business through a period of significant transformation and progress, strengthening performance, improving resilience and helping to build strong foundations for the future.

She leaves the Group in a strong position, with clear strategic priorities, capable leadership and real momentum across our businesses. We wish her every success in her next chapter.”
To support continuity during the transition, Mick Horn, currently Group Chief Financial Officer, will take on the responsibilities of Group CEO alongside his CFO responsibilities.
The Board will now begin a search for a permanent Group CEO. In the meantime, the Group remains focused on delivering for its customers, clients, communities and stakeholders, and continuing to build on the progress made in recent years.
