Senior appointments at South Staffordshire Plc
South Staffordshire Plc, the UK services group that operates two regulated water companies and offers a range of services and products to essential services operators and markets, has today announced two further new appointments to its senior leadership team.

Hayley Monks has been appointed Managing Director of water sector specialist business process outsourcing firm, Echo Managed Services. She will replace Monica Mackintosh at the helm of the business, following Monica’s decision to take up a new external opportunity.
Hayley joins the business from WNS Global Services, a leader in business process outsourcing across multiple sectors, including utilities. In addition, as a co-founder of the Womens Utilities Network (WUN) and a former consultancy business owner, Hayley brings with her a wealth of experience to lead Echo into its next phase of growth across both the service and software divisions of the business.
Further strengthening the South Staffordshire Plc HR team, and to support the Group’s people transformation plan and growth, Vicki Shaw has been appointed as Group Head of HR Business Partnering.
Vicki joins from the YTL Group, where she was Head of People for four of the group brands: Pelican Business Services, water2business, Wessex Water Enterprises and Turnbull. With over 20 years of HR experience, she has a demonstrated track record of driving positive change through the development of engaging and inclusive people practices.
Charley Maher, CEO of South Staffordshire PLC, said:
“I am delighted to welcome Hayley and Vicki to the South Staffordshire Plc Group. They both bring extensive experience and achievement within the utilities sector and their areas of specialism, and are key appointments for our Group and future plans.
I look forward to them joining us over the next few months, as we continue to focus on delivering for our clients, employees and wider community. I’d like to take this opportunity to also thank Monica for what has been a significant commitment and contribution to the success of Echo over many years, and to wish her every success in the future.”
