South Staffordshire Water operates under a single water supply licence as Cambridge Water and South Staffs Water. It is a regulated water only company that provides clean drinking water to more than 1.7 million people and around 42,000 businesses in Cambridgeshire and in parts of Staffordshire, Derbyshire and the West Midlands. It does not take away wastewater or treat sewage.
This report relates to the following businesses, now managed under the overall OnSite customer facing brand and structure, whilst retaining their own identities: –
- OnSite Central Ltd – A statutory company with accounts registered at Companies House.
- Integrated Water Services Mechanical & Electrical (IWS M&E) – Part of a wider IWS Ltd company with accounts registered at Companies House.
- G Stow Plc – A statutory company with accounts registered at Companies House.
South Staffordshire Plc’s Asset Health division provides a range of bespoke asset inspection and condition analysis, water loss management solutions, network monitoring system installations, and specialist repair and maintenance activities to regulated utilities, environmental customers, local authorities and industrial customers with critical infrastructure.
IWS Water Hygiene is a market leading provider of legionella control services, water hygiene risk assessment, maintenance, and remedial works, together with a comprehensive water treatment service working across the UK.
Omega Red Group (Omega) continues to be driven by the increasing regulatory and insurance demands for compliance across its customer base.
Echo has been established for almost 25 years delivering customer service and software solutions to water utilities in the UK, Australia and USA that support and enhance their customer operations. Broadly, this incorporates outsourced customer service solutions including customer contact handling, billing, meter reading and debt collection, as well as developing, implementing, and supporting billing and CRM software.
In 2024–25, Office Watercoolers Limited (OWC) operated in a competitive and evolving hydration market, marked by consolidation and increased competition. OWC responded by prioritising customer service, sustainability and flexible delivery, maintaining operational momentum and adapting effectively to fluctuating demand and supply chain pressures. This focus on high-quality service across all customer segments, regardless of size, provided stability and supported long-term relationships.
IGL, one of the UK’s largest independent multi-utility infrastructure providers, currently serves residential housebuilders and commercial developers across the Midlands, east of England, the west and southwest.
The Group monitors its financial performance through targeted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Turnover, Profit, EBITDA, Net Debt and dividend distribution, together with non – financial measures such as Health and Safety, Employee Engagement and Business Development. Financial performance in the Group’s regulated business remained strong, with turnover increasing by £1.7m year on year. Despite this, the regulated business continues to experience significant pressure on energy, chemical and borrowing costs, driven by inflation.
